§ 44.189.05. Penalty.

Any person, firm or corporation who or which violates, disobeys, neglects, fails to comply with or resists enforcement of the provisions of this Section shall be fined as follows:

(a)

For a violation of Section 44.189.02 fines shall be in accordance with ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 15-113 of the Illinois Vehicle Code for each offense.

(b)

For a violation of Section 44.189.03 the fine shall be not less than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for each offense.

(c)

For a violation of Section 44.189.04 the fine shall be not less than seventy-five dollars ($75.00) nor more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for each offense.

A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each calendar day a violation occurs. In addition to seeking a fine, as herein above provided, the City Attorney may institute any proper action in the name of the City to enjoin the violation of any provision of this Section.
