§ 5.18. Guards and lights at excavations and obstructions.

Sufficient guards shall be placed and at night lights shall be maintained at each excavation, pile of material, fence or any other obstruction, on any street so as to protect the public. No person shall move, extinguish, diminish, or disturb a guard or light so placed.
