§ 31.260. Complaints.

  • (a)

    Any person may file a written complaint with the City Manager regarding the conduct of a taxicab operator or taxicab company or the condition of a vehicle.

    (b)

    The City Manager or his designee shall investigate all complaints against taxicab operators, or taxicab companies or vehicles. He shall notify the operator and the taxicab company of the complaint and may conduct a meeting on the matter. If the City Manager determines that such a meeting is necessary, the operator and a representative of the taxicab company shall be present. If the City Manager determines that any provision of this Article has been violated, he shall take any further action consistent with the provisions of this Chapter and may also refer the matter to the Police Department or Mayor.
